Tri-Cities Pride Society (Logo)

The Society

The Tri-Cities Pride Society (TCPS) was formed in September 2017 to advocate for and serve the LGBT2SQ+ communities in the cities of Port Moody, Coquitlam, and Port Coquitlam. We do so with a mixture of advocacy, social events, and consultation.

Governance

The TCPS is run by an elected board of directors. They are elected each year by the membership at the society’s Annual General Meeting

Membership

The TCPS has 2 types of membership: individual and organisation:

  • Individual memberships are by donation and grant the member a vote at general meetings. Donations assist the society in running events and continuing functioning.
  • Organisation memberships are by donation and grant 1 vote at general meetings. This type of membership is ideal for organisations for whose goals are closely aligned with the TCPS.

Coquitlam's Rainbow Crosswalk

The TCPS worked hard to with Coquitlam City Council to bring this beautiful symbol of Pride to the city of Coquitlam – right outside City Hall!

Pro-SOGI Rally

The TCPS rallied the community to show our support of the SOGI & SOGI 123 policy and resource package – an essential tool for educators hoping to help LGBT2SQ+ youth and children.
