We’re excited to celebrate Pride with you in all three cities this summer! Planning is in the early stages, but we’ve finalized dates for all celebrations and want to make sure they are in your calendar!
Port Moody Youth Pride Friday June 26 5-7pm, PoMoArts Centre and Kyle Centre
We’re continuing the tradition of putting on events for youth, by youth with our second annual Port Moody Youth Pride! This event is organized by our LGBTQ+ Youth Committee and highlights local queer youth musicians and artists, as well as providing free activities and crafts for youth and their families. If you are a self-identified queer youth (12-19) artist going to school in the Tri-Cities, please consider sharing your work at the exhibition – you can find the application form here, and applications are accepted until April 19th!
Coquitlam Pride Saturday July 4 12-5pm, Evergreen Cultural Centre and TCPCC
We’re back with the fourth annual Coquitlam Pride festival, including a Pride Story Time in the morning for the littles, followed by an opening ceremony and parade at noon, and music, workshops, and booths happening all day! This year, our partners at Evergreen will also be hosting a post-Pride dance from 5-8pm, so come prepared to shake it all out after a full day of activities!
Port Coquitlam Pride Sunday July 19 2-5pm, Leigh Square
We’re working with our lovely friends at the City of Port Coquitlam to bring you a festive afternoon in the park, with music, queens, and art activities for the whole family!
