Jojo Zolina is a respected teacher, choreographer, and cultural ambassador of the Wh/aacking/Punking dance style. With roots in Los Angeles and New York City’s underground scene, Jojo trained under legendary pioneers of Wh/aacking/Punking and Voguing in the early 2000s, absorbing the soul, history, and spirit of the movement directly from its source.
In 2006, Jojo founded House of La Douche in Vancouver—a groundbreaking platform that celebrates queer excellence, radical expression, and the power of street and club dance forms. Through performances, workshops, and mentorship across North America, Russia, Amsterdam, Asia and Europe, Jojo has been instrumental in cultivating a new generation of dancers who honour the foundations of Wh/aacking/Punking while making space for their own voices and identities.
Blending humour, edge, and emotional depth, Jojo’s teaching bridges technique with storytelling, offering students more than just movement—it’s a practice of liberation. Featured on CNN’s Great Big Story in 2020, Jojo continues to inspire as a connector between cultures, generations, and communities.

Auréane Emery is a 17 year old singer/songwriter from Coquitlam who is currently pursuing music full time. in October 2023 she released her first single “missed calls”, a pop/alternative song inspired by the artists she grew up listening to, like Gracie Abrams, Billie Eilish and Lexi Jayde who have given her the space to write so vulnerably. Shane Sable is the Furiously Flirtatious Force of Nature. Lovingly referred to as the Soapberry of Burlesque, 2Spirit Gitxsan Shane may be a bit bitter for some colonial taste buds. Shane hustles for community day and night as an artist, educator, facilitator, storyteller, cultural wellness worker and Convening Member and founder of Virago Nation Indigenous Arts Society.
Introducing Monday Blues, an electrifying Afro-Indigenous (Ewe-Secwépemc) burlesque performer and storyteller. Her performances seamlessly blend seduction and empowerment, delivering a resounding message: liberation is incredibly sexy.
